Woman in Water
Woman in water was one of the most interesting pieces to work with. Textures here were really important to me, as well as the intentionally awkward positioning of her body. Again I surprised myself.

The Blues
I find myself in love with this greyish blue color scheme. Makes people more emotive, i guess. The first two are digital, the second one is a huge painting still sitting in my room. All are fictional characters.
1. Isolde, from the feature film. (digital)
2. Man with Pipe, from photograph. (Digital)
3. Mourning Man, from photograph. (painting)

4. Isolde, from the feature film. (painting)
Jolly Ol’ Man
Jolly ol’ chap in hues of green and beiges.

Sketches of Men
The first two portraits were drawn in Mill Valley public library when i was 17 a few years back, on a day of pure boredom. I love intense faces, and was able to achieve that look about them. The third sketch is of my uncle sleeping on one of our vacations to Whiskey town lake, probably one of our last family trips. I was probably 16 if not younger.
